Daihatsu Move

The Daihatsu Move is a kei car produced by the Japanese automaker Daihatsu since 1998. It is available in hatchback, saloon and van bodystyles. It is Daihatsu's response to the Honda Life and the Suzuki Wagon R.

First generation (L600; 1998–2003)

The Move was introduced in August 1998, and available only as a five-door hatchback. It uses a 660cc DOHC three-cylinder petrol engine, mated to a continuously variable transmission. A four-speed automatic transmission was available as an option for the Move L600.

The Move was facelifted in October 2000, and now available with the 1.0 litre DOHC three-cylinder petrol engine from the Daihatsu Mira. A new four-speed automatic transmission was also introduced for the 1.0 litre engine.

Second generation (L700; 2003–2006)

The second generation Move was introduced in May 2003. It is available as a three-door hatchback and a five-door hatchback. The three-door model is called the Move Custom, while the five-door model is called the Move Conte.

Third generation (LA100; 2006–2014)

The Kia Carnival is a minivan manufactured by Kia Motors, introduced in September 1998, now in its third generation and marketed globally under various nameplates, most prominently as the Kia Sedona. In North America, the Carnival was marketed as the Kia Sedona, while in Australia and some European markets it was known as the Kia Carnival.

A plug-in hybrid version will be available in some markets.

The Kia Carnival is a van produced by the South Korean manufacturer Kia Motors since September 1998. It is now in its third generation and is marketed globally under various nameplates, prominently as the Kia Sedona. Third generation (YP; 2014–present)

The third generation Kia Carnival was introduced in 2014. It is based on a modified version of the Hyundai Santa Fe platform. It is available with either a 3.3-litre V6 petrol engine, or a 2.2-litre inline-four diesel engine.

A facelift was introduced in 2018.

 BMW 5 Series

The BMW 5 Series is a series of mid-size luxury cars produced by the German automaker BMW since 1972. It is in its seventh generation and is the New Class's replacement. The 5 Series sits above the 3 Series in BMW's lineup and below the 7 Series in terms of price and size.

The 5 Series was originally launched in 1972 as the New Class Sedan, and was BMW's first foray into the mid-size luxury car market. The car was designed to replace the aging 3.0 CS and 3.0 CSi models, and was available in both sedan and coupe body styles. The 5 Series was initially powered by a range of inline-four and inline-six engines, but BMW later added V8 and V12 engines to the lineup.

The first generation 5 Series was succeeded by the second generation in 1981. The second generation 5 Series was available in sedan, coupe, and wagon body styles, and was powered by a range of inline-four, inline-six, and V8 engines. The third generation 5 Series was launched in 1988 and was available in sedan and wagon body styles.  Peugeot 3008

The Peugeot 3008 is a compact crossover SUV produced by the French manufacturer Peugeot since May 2008. In China, it was marketed as the Dongfeng Fengshen AX7.

The 3008 was launched as the replacement for the Peugeot 307 SW, and it shares the same platform as the Peugeot 207 and the Peugeot 208.

The 3008 is available with a choice of four petrol engines and three diesel engines. All engines are mated to a six-speed manual transmission, with the exception of the 1.6-litre petrol engine, which is also available with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The 3008 was facelifted in 2012 and again in 2016.

First generation (2008–2016)

The first generation Peugeot 3008 was launched in May 2008. It was based on the PF2 platform, which is also used by the Peugeot 207 and the Peugeot 208.

The third generation Peugeot 3008 was launched in March 2021. It is based on the PSA EMP2 platform, which is also used by the Peugeot 208, the Peugeot 2008 and the Peugeot 308.

The 3008 is available with a choice of four petrol engines and three diesel engines.  An eight-speed programmable transmission is connected to each motor.

The 1.6-litre petrol engine is available in two states of tune: 88kW and 104kW. The 1.6-litre HDi diesel engine is available in two states of tune: 80kW and 100kW. The 2.0-litre HDi diesel engine is available in two states of tune: 120kW and 140kW.

 Skoda Kodiaq

The Škoda Kodiaq is a seven-seat large SUV launched in 2016 by the Czech car manufacturer Škoda Auto. It is the company's first SUV model and was designed and built on the Volkswagen Group MQB platform.

The Kodiaq was introduced at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and went on sale in February 2017.

As of July 2018, the Škoda Kodiaq is available in China, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and some South American countries.

Design and engineering

The Kodiaq depends on the Volkswagen Group MQB stage.. It is 4,697 mm (185 in) long, 1,882 mm (74 in) wide and 1,676 mm (66 in) tall, with a 2,791 mm (110 in) wheelbase.

The Kodiaq is powered by a range of petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engines include a 1.4-litre TSI engine with 125 kW (168 hp) and a 2.0-litre TSI engine with 140 kW (188 hp). The diesel engines include a 1.6-litre TDI engine with 85 kW (114 hp) and a 2.0-litre TDI engine with 140 kW (188 hp). All engines are paired with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG transmission.

The Kodiaq is available with Škoda's 4x4 drive system, which includes an electronically controlled Haldex clutch. The system can send up to 100% of the torque to the rear wheels when needed.

The Kodiaq is available with a range of safety features, including adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, lane keep assist, park assist, and traffic jam assist.

Variants

The Škoda Kodiaq is available in a range of trim levels, including SE, SE L, Scout, SportLine, and Laurin & Klement.

The SE trim level is the entry-level trim and includes 16-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, manual air conditioning, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The SE L trim level adds 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, power-folding mirrors, automatic air conditioning, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The Scout trim level is the off-road-oriented trim and includes 18-inch alloy wheels, all-wheel drive, hill descent control, and underbody protection.

The SportLine trim level is the performance-oriented trim and includes 19-inch alloy wheels, sports suspension, and a sporty body kit.

The Laurin & Klement trim level is the range-topping trim and includes 20-inch alloy wheels, Nappa leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, and a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Sales

The Škoda Kodiaq was introduced at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.

As of July 2018, the Kodiaq is available in China, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and some South American countries.

In China, the Kodiaq is available in four trim levels: Trendline, Comfortline, L&K, and Scout.

In Europe, the Kodiaq is available in five trim levels: Active, Ambition, Style, Scout, and Laurin & Klement.

In Australia, the Kodiaq is available in three trim levels: 132TSI, 140TDI, and 140TSI.

In New Zealand, the Kodiaq is available in three trim levels: 132TSI, 140TDI, and 140TSI.

In South Africa, the Kodiaq is available in three trim levels: 132TSI, 140TDI, and 140TSI.

The Kodiaq was the best-selling SUV in Europe in 2017, with 100,000 units sold.

Awards

The Škoda Kodiaq won the 2017 European Car of the Year award.
