The Ferrari 458 is a mid-engined sports car produced by the Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari. The 458 supplanted the Ferrari F430 and was first authoritatively uncovered at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. It was officially launched at the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show.

The 458 is powered by a 4.5-liter V8 engine which produces 562 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 540 N·m of torque at 6,000 rpm with 80% torque available at 3,250 rpm. The motor elements direct fuel infusion, which is a first for Ferrari mid-motor arrangements in quite a while of street vehicles.

The only transmission available on the 458 is a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, manufactured for Ferrari by Getrag. There is no traditional manual option, making this the fourth road-car after the Enzo, Challenge Stradale and 430 Scuderia not to be offered with a manual gearbox.

The car's suspension system is controlled by the MagneRide magnetorheological damping system with five different settings available through the manettino on the steering wheel. It is based on a double wishbone setup at the front and a multi-link setup at the rear.

The 458 has a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph), and can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds.

The 458 is also equipped with carbon-ceramic brakes from Brembo. The brakes have six-piston calipers at the front and four-piston calipers at the rear. The 458 has 15.7-inch discs at the front and 14.2-inch discs at the rear.

The 458 has a fuel tank capacity of 82 liters.

The 458 is offered in two body styles: a coupe and ASPIDER. The 458 Spider was disclosed at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The 458 is Ferraris's first mid-engined car to be offered with a retractable hardtop. The Spider's folding metal roof consists of two electrochromic glass panels that automatically tint themselves. The roof can be opened or closed while the car is moving at speeds of up to 30 km/h (19 mph).

The base price of the 458 Spider is €235,000.

As of 2015, the 458 has been replaced by the Ferrari 488.
